Dr Richard Race is Senior Lecturer in Education in the School of Education at Roehampton University and a Visiting Professor at Sapienza University in Rome, Italy. The third edition of his monograph, Multiculturalism and Education will be published by The Open University Press in 2020. Richard is also editor of Advancing Multicultural Dialogues in Education which was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2018. He was also co-editor with Professor Vini Lander of Advancing Race and Ethnicity in Education which was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2016. Richard is also a member of the British Education Research Association Council, sitting on the Conference and Engagement Committee as well as being co-convenor of the Postgraduate PIN for the Society of Research into Higher Education. Richard’s current research interests include Integration and Education Policy-Making. Furthermore, he has a particular interest in postgraduate student identities having carried out research in the UK, Greece and Turkey. Email: r.race@roehampton.ac.uk
